Британското кралско семейство изненада пресата на Острова със снимки от тайна сватба, състояла се на 17 юли 2020 г. в най-тесен семеен кръг заради пандемията от COVID-19. Принцеса Беатрис се венча за избраника си в присъствието на своите баба и дядо - Елизабет Втора и принц Филип. Булчинската рокля от тафта в цвят "слонова кост" беше втора употреба, обличана от кралицата за премиерата на филма "Лорънс Арабски" през 1962 г. и преправена сега с добавена дължина от сатен плюс къси ръкави от органза. Неин дизайнер е сър Норман Хартнел, създал тоалетите на младата Елизабет за нейната сватба (1947) и коронацията й (1953). "Нещо назаем" беше и кралската сватбена диадема, наследство от кралицата майка Мери.
